Strength in the Struggle, Hope in the Fight

This collection is personal. It’s for Tony. It’s for me. And it’s for every warrior who wakes up each day to face sickle cell with courage and faith.
When I dreamed up the Warrior Collection, I didn’t just want to create products. I wanted to create purpose. I wanted to honor my late husband, Tony, who lived bravely with sickle cell, while also shining a light on the thousands of others who share this journey.
The Warrior Spirit
Being a warrior is more than a title — it’s a way of life. Warriors endure pain, uncertainty, and setbacks, yet they rise again and again with determination.
Sickle cell disease is often called an “invisible illness,” but the strength of those who live with it is anything but invisible. Behind every smile is a fight most people will never see. And that’s exactly why awareness matters.
💡 Did you know? Sickle Cell Disease affects about 100,000 people in the United States, most commonly among African American and Hispanic families. Despite being the most common inherited blood disorder, it does not receive the level of funding or awareness it deserves.
The Daily Struggle
For those living with sickle cell, life is a constant balance. Pain crises can appear without warning, lasting hours or even days. Hospital visits are frequent. Fatigue and complications become part of everyday reality.
And yet — warriors press on. They finish school, build families, work jobs, and chase dreams. Their resilience is unmatched.
💡 Fact: Sickle Cell is a lifelong condition with no universal cure yet, though bone marrow transplants and new treatments are offering hope. Advocacy is key to ensuring more research, resources, and better care for warriors and their families.
Why Awareness Matters
September is National Sickle Cell Awareness Month. It’s a time to amplify voices, educate others, and honor lives. Awareness isn’t just about wearing a color or sharing a post — it’s about fueling research, breaking stigmas, and standing with those who fight daily.
💡 Fact: Many people are unaware that Sickle Cell can cause serious complications such as stroke, organ damage, and shortened life expectancy. Awareness leads to earlier diagnoses, better treatment options, and more support for patients and families.
The Birth of the Warrior Collection
After losing Tony, I asked myself: how can I turn grief into something meaningful? How can I make sure his story — and the stories of so many others — aren’t forgotten?
That’s how the Warrior Collection was born.
From bold Afrocentric canvases and cozy blankets to statement tees, journals, and stickers, every item is designed with purpose. These pieces aren’t just products; they’re daily reminders of strength, resilience, and hope. They carry messages that warriors and their families already live by: Keep fighting. Stay strong. Never give up.
Purpose with Every Purchase
The Warrior Collection isn’t just about awareness. It’s about action. That’s why a portion of proceeds from every item is donated to the Sickle Cell Disease Association of America (SCDAA).
💜 And during September — Sickle Cell Awareness Month — we’re doubling our impact by donating 20% of proceeds.
When you shop the Warrior Collection, you’re not just buying a product. You’re contributing to advocacy, research, and support for warriors and their families.
The Bold Warrior Drop
This September, I wanted to do something extra special — something bold. That’s why I introduced the Bold Warrior Drop, a limited edition streetwear release featuring both male and female designs.
These camo-inspired tees and hoodies are unapologetic. They’re fierce. They’re for the warriors who want their presence felt and their voices heard.
⚡ But here’s the catch: the Bold Warrior Drop is only available through September. Once it’s gone, it’s gone.
So if you’ve been waiting for the right time to stand bold and make a statement — this is it.
Strength in the Struggle, Hope in the Fight
The Warrior Collection is more than merchandise. It’s my way of honoring Tony. It’s my way of standing with every person who faces sickle cell with bravery. It’s a reminder that even in the hardest battles, there is strength, faith, and hope.
When you wear a Warrior tee, wrap yourself in a Warrior blanket, or hang a Warrior canvas on your wall, you’re not just making a style choice — you’re joining a movement.
💜 Together, we can spread awareness.
💜 Together, we can support SCDAA.
💜 Together, we can honor every warrior.
Wear it. Write it. Frame it. Live it.
